Tip of the Week

Summer is a great time to explore

Use this summer to explore new ideas or to take on projects that wouldn’t normally fit into your child’s busy school-year schedule. If he’s excited about robots, consider a robotics camp or a do-it-yourself robot-building kit. If he likes writing songs or poetry, seek a music-themed writing workshop. Whatever your child’s passion, summer is the time to follow it. When he returns to school in the fall, he’ll have strengthened valuable skills and will be brimming with new-found confidence. Then you can work together to find ways to incorporate his new skills into some of his “boring” school work to make it more interesting and engaging.
