Courage is not always a roar

We’re feeling reflective today. Spring is a busy and often overwhelming time of year for students and families. It brings exams, transitions, celebrations, and heightened emotions. Supporting kids through stress and anxiety is a shared challenge for parents, caregivers, teachers, coaches, and tutors. The reflections below aren’t solutions, but they may offer a helpful starting point for the conversations that matter most.

  • “Courage is not always a roar. Sometimes it is the quiet voice at the end of the day that says, ‘I will try again tomorrow.’” True growth often happens not in the triumphs, but in the decision to persist.
  • Rather than saying “let it go” try “move forward.” “Let it go” can silence emotion. “Move forward” honors it and opens the door to what’s next.
