Exercise boosts brainpower!

Exercise boosts brain power. Beyond the numerous benefits of a healthy body, studies have shown that physical activity in children also leads to a healthy mind. Regular exercise via activities like sports, martial arts, or playing outdoors enhances academic performance (including focus/attention, memory, and executive function skills) while simultaneously boosting self-confidence, promoting better sleep, and reducing feelings of anxiety and depression. Especially during Covid when our children are spending significant time stationary on electronic devices, it’s critical we get them moving throughout the day.
