Tip of the Week
Let’s get digital, digital
As the school year progresses, your child’s digital workspace – their email and Google Drive – can become cluttered and overwhelming. Just like a tidy physical workspace boosts productivity, a well-organized digital environment can significantly improve focus and efficiency. Here are a few suggestions to tackle digital organization.
Declutter the email inbox:
- Delete old or irrelevant emails.
- Flag important emails for follow-up.
- Create folders for each class to organize teacher communications.
- Unsubscribe from unnecessary newsletters or promotional emails to reduce inbox noise.
Google Drive organization:
- Clearly label all untitled documents to make them easily searchable.
- Organize files into folders by class or subject. If your child is using Google Classroom, utilize its built-in organizational tools.
- Delete or archive files that are no longer needed.
By implementing these simple steps, you can help your child maintain a more organized and efficient digital workspace that will reduce stress and improve productivity.
