Tip of the Week
Next on your summer planning to-do list
By now the big pieces of summer – camps, activities, vacations and long weekends – have been organized and at least tentatively scheduled leaving just one last action item on your to-do list: determining how to keep your child’s mind engaged in learning this summer to keep the summer slide at bay.
The research is clear. Summer learning loss is real, yet avoidable. Our infographic tells the story succinctly. Even a few hours each week of reading, writing, and/or math will make a big difference come September. We can help.
We’ve got something for every student this summer at Engaging Minds!
For students in grades K-3, reading practice is critical. Check out our Early Readers Program which is designed to help students gain confidence and feel positive about reading.
For students in grades 2-6, Engaging Minds Academy offers a catalog of fun, engaging, and executive function-focused electives for students. Your child will love planning your family’s next dream vacation or writing their own graphic novel!
For students in grades 7-12, we’ve got a few EM Academy electives to pique their interest, or they can strengthen their executive function skills by creating and executing their own fun summer project, tailored to their interests.
For rising seniors, we will help them Get a Head Start on the College Application Process, easing their load in the fall.
