Tip of the Week
October is ADHD Awareness Month
October is ADHD Awareness Month, a time to shine a light on the challenges and strengths of individuals with ADHD. As an executive function coaching company, we understand firsthand the unique experiences of students with ADHD.
Many kids with ADHD struggle with executive functions like attention, organization, and time management. These challenges can make school and everyday life seem overwhelming.
However, while ADHD presents challenges, it also comes with unique strengths and superpowers. Many individuals with ADHD are highly creative, passionate, and have a knack for problem-solving. They often possess boundless energy and enthusiasm, and can be incredibly intuitive and empathetic.
Today’s tip is to celebrate what makes your child special and unique. Everyone has unique strengths, and ADHD is no exception. By recognizing and supporting these strengths, and by helping to mitigate some of the challenges with good coaching and support, we can help kids with ADHD feel good about themselves and watch them change the world.
