Enrich classroom learning while on vacation

School vacations (for many, next week!) are a great opportunity to enrich your child’s classroom learning. You don’t need to travel very far to give your child a valuable (and memorable) experience. A trip to the Science Museum with specific plans to visit the exhibits related to your child’s Science curriculum is a fun way to add to the information he has already learned. Likewise, going to the MFA to view the art of a civilization he has studied in Social Studies or dining out at a restaurant that serves food from a particular culture that he has learned about brings another level of investment to your child’s learning.
