Regain control over overwhelming assignments

Big assignments and projects can be daunting, especially if the student feels he’s got to do it all at once and/or doesn’t know where to begin. To get him started, help him break the assignment down into component parts to make it more manageable. By breaking it down and creating checklists for each component, your child will regain control over the assignment and increase his confidence in his ability to tackle these seemingly overwhelming tasks on his own.
