Start small, start now
Getting started is easier said than done for many students. Sometimes a solution is as simple as shifting one’s mindset. Best-selling author and prolific blogger Seth Godin offers this angle:
This is much better than “start big, start later.”
One advantage is you don’t have to start perfect.
You can merely start.
When your child is stuck, ask her: “What can you do?” It’s simply about taking the first step, however small. She’ll soon learn that one small step eventually becomes a giant leap.
