Tip of the Week

January 22, 2018

Start together

If getting started on homework is a consistent challenge for your child, try this two-step solution:

  1. Start the work with him.
  2. Then, identify the most effective strategies and create a “Getting Started” checklist that he can reference the next time.

Sometimes getting started is the hardest part. Creating a checklist is proactive and will, in time, help your child become more independent.
