Tip of the Week
What’s Your Child’s Prime Time for Learning?
As remote learning moves into its third week, consider what time of day works best for your child to engage in academics. Due to the amount of sleep teens require, some high schools across the country start later in the morning. With more sleep, older students are much better able to maintain attention and focus. Younger students are naturally up earlier and may be better primed to get good work done first thing. The key: There’s no right or wrong answer and it may take some trial and error to land on the right timing. Understand your child’s rhythms and try to identify the time of day that gives your child the greatest chance to engage successfully and get good work done.
