Winter vacation provides an ideal opportunity for your child to devote some time to interests she doesn’t otherwise have time to pursue during the semester. A break from the daily routine of school and homework is a perfect time for students to “pleasure read” simply for the pure enjoyment of it. Start your vacation with a trip to the bookstore ─ in-person or online! Perhaps your child loves art but never has time to be creative. The unscheduled time during vacation is a wonderful opportunity for her to pick up a paintbrush and create a masterpiece!
