Tip of the Week
What do you notice? Clues abound!
Winter vacation changes the pace of everything. Fewer transitions. Fewer deadlines. Fewer “hurry-ups.” This winter break, notice what feels easier for your child. Mornings may feel calmer. Stress may ease (no homework!). Emotions may settle more quickly, or engagement may increase when the clock isn’t ticking. Those moments are information. They offer quiet clues about what helps your child thrive during the school year — perhaps more time, fewer transitions, clearer expectations, or simply more breathing room between tasks. There’s nothing to solve, just something to learn.
From all of us at Engaging Minds, we wish you a relaxing break filled with family, friends, time to do the things you enjoy, and the space to simply be.
