Tip of the Week
When Tip Tuesday became Tip Wednesday
Welcome to Tip Wednesday.
We planned, as always, for Tip Tuesday.
Life had other plans.
One of the most overlooked executive function skills isn’t organization or time management. It’s flexibility.
Plans change. Meetings run long. Kids get sick. The unexpected happens. We can either spend our energy wishing things had gone according to plan, or we can adjust and keep moving.
That’s true for our children, too.
Sometimes we focus so much on helping them make a plan that we forget to teach them what to do when the plan falls apart. That’s where resilience grows. The goal isn’t perfect execution. It’s learning to adapt without giving up.
So this week, here’s your reminder: When life throws your family a curveball, don’t ask, “How do we get back to the original plan?” Ask, “What’s the best plan now?”
