Entrepreneurship: Be the Boss

Do you ever wish you could be in charge? Well, in this elective, you get to be your own boss! You will learn the steps of creating, running, and designing a restaurant. Through researching other businesses, writing a proposal, creating advertisements to attract customers and hire staff, creating a menu with pricing, staffing and paying employees, you will oversee your own restaurant from start to finish! Combining research skills, persuasive writing, and mathematical know-how, this elective will give you a real-life taste of running your very own restaurant.
