Ask specific questions, get specific responses

If getting good data from your child about her day at school is challenging, consider the way you’re framing the question. In a wonderful blog post on huffingtonpost.com, blogger Liz Evans shares“25 ways to ask your kids ‘So how was school today?’ without asking them ‘So how was school today?’” By asking more specific and thoughtful questions, you’re likely to get more specific and thoughtful responses in return. Give one or two of Evans’ questions a try and learn more about your child’s day than you ever dared imagine!
