There are many ways to stay organized!

There are many ways to stay organized. Take some time to determine with your child what will work best for him. For example, some students prefer to use individual one-inch binders with folders for every class. It keeps things separate and distinct, and goes along with the “a place for everything and everything in its place” way of approaching organization. Other students prefer to have one big binder that includes tabbed sections for every class. This helps the student keep all his materials in one place (much more difficult to lose!). Still others may benefit from an accordion folder that has slots for homework in/out, class and book notes, and handouts. Whichever approach your child chooses, by giving him the reins in determining what he thinks will work best for him, he’s more likely to work hard to make it successful.
