Tip of the Week

Use web-based programs to store documents and files

Use an auto-saving, web-based program, like Google Drive, to ensure the safety and accessibility of your child’s academic documents. When he has put hours of hard work into a paper, project, or presentation, the last thing your child wants is for technical difficulties (or a lost flash drive) to erase or ruin his efforts. Programs like Google Drive are accessible from any computer with internet access, which means your child can work on, reference, and print out assignments from personal, public, and school devices. It also saves every change instantaneously, meaning that if one computer or device goes down in flames, his work is safe and accessible from another.
