Use the rubric and improve your grade

A “rubric” lists the criteria by which student work will be evaluated. Teachers provide rubrics to help guide students to the successful completion of an assignment. Logically, then, students should make a habit of using the rubric to check their work before handing it in to confirm they’ve met the benchmarks outlined by the teacher. Many students skip this last step in the process, and it can be detrimental. By evaluating his work against the rubric, your child will ensure he is submitting his very best effort.
