Marathon Monday highlights

Today is Patriots Day in Massachusetts, the day the Boston Marathon is traditionally run. For the second year in a row, it’s a day without a race. In past years, we’ve used the marathon as a metaphor to convey various tips to help students strengthen executive function skills. As we remember highlights of marathons past, here are some of our Marathon Monday TOTW highlights. 

• Intrinsic motivation, commitment, and working toward a goal 
• Keep pace, stay focused, and the follow the process
• When things don’t go as planned
• “A marathon is hundreds of miles. The finish is the last 26.2.”
